The Joint Operational Programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova (2007 - 2013) launches 2nd call for proposals for cross-border projects

The objective of the Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova Joint Operational Programme for 2007-2013 is to provide the framework for the implementation of cross border activities in the context of the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). This call addresses local and regional authorities as well as non-profit organisations.

Applicants, local and regional authorities and non-profit making organisations, from the regions eligible in these countries, should present projects meeting the following three priorities:

  1. Environmental challenges and emergency preparedness;
  2. People to people cooperation;
  3. More competitive border economy.

A number of information sessions on this call for proposals will continue throughout December in the three states participating in the programme.
The call has been launched by the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism in Romania.

The total financial allocation for the call is EUR27.535.879.

The deadline for submitting the concept notes is 30 January 2012.

The objective of the Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova Joint Operational Programme for 2007-2013 is to provide the framework for the implementation of cross border activities in the context of the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). It aims to improve the economic, social and environmental situation in the programme area, in the context of safe and secure borders, through increased contact of partners on every side of the border.
